SalixDrive presents your Google Drive as a familiar folder on an authorized computer, so the work you store in Google can follow you across your PCs.
A direct, user-controlled connection
Use the cloud storage you already own.
SalixDrive is a private desktop integration for Google Drive. Once you authorize it, a SalixDrive folder can list and open your Drive files, upload new work, and synchronize changes through your own Google account.
It is not a separate storage provider and does not expand or bypass Google's storage limits. Google Drive remains the cloud service behind your files.
Direct connection
Files move between your authorized computer and Google Drive—not through a Salix file server.
Your control
Disconnect the desktop configuration or revoke Google access whenever you choose.
How authorization works
- You sign in to Google in your normal browser.
- Google shows the permissions requested by SalixDrive.
- You choose whether to grant access.
- The resulting OAuth token is stored locally on your authorized computer.
- You can revoke access later from your Google Account security settings.
Private testing
While SalixDrive's Google OAuth configuration is in Testing, only Google accounts added as approved test users can authorize the app.
Clear data commitments
SalixDrive uses Google Drive data only to provide file access and operations you request. It does not sell your files, use them for advertising, or use them to train general-purpose AI models. The complete disclosures are in the Privacy Policy.
